SAARTHI QR is a vehicle safety and owner-alert platform. When a vehicle displaying a SAARTHI QR code is scanned, the registered owner receives a real-time notification, enabling faster communication in situations such as parking issues, accidents, or emergencies.

• Payment information necessary to process transactions (handled securely via Razorpay — see Section 6)

• Push notification token (used to deliver scan alerts to your device)
• Basic device and app information (e.g. app version, device type) for troubleshooting and update checks

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect precise GPS location, browsing history outside the App, contacts, photos, or media beyond what is explicitly required to generate and save your vehicle's QR code image.

4. How Scanning Works

When someone scans a vehicle's QR code, they do not receive access to the owner's personal contact details (phone number or email) directly. Instead, the scan triggers a notification to the registered owner through our platform. The owner's personal information is never displayed publicly on the QR code or shared with the scanning party unless the owner chooses to respond or share it themselves.

Your data is stored on secure servers with access limited to authorized personnel. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account or vehicle registration remains active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 10).

SAARTHI QR is intended for use by vehicle owners who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

• You may opt out of push notifications through your device settings, though this will disable the core scan-alert functionality of the App.
